As we all know, Kamal Haasan hasbeen touring Madurai and Rameshwaram today and he will be addressing  a rally in Madurai, where he will be announcing the name of his political party and also unfurl the flag.

Starting the day long even with the visit to former President Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam's memorial at Rameshwaram, Kamal met Kalam's brother who wished him for success in politics.

As per  the day's itinerary  Kamal was supposed to visit school where Kalam studied. However the School Education Department of the Tamil Nadu Government has denied permission for Kamal to enter the school premises based on a complaint allegedly filed by Hindu Munnani, a religious outfit. The complaint apparently opposed Kamal's visit to the school saying that the latter plans to discuss politics with school students which may cause unrest.

Since the permission is denied Kamal and his team had to drop their plans to visit the school but they are going ahead with the other plans for the day. As announced earlier Kamal will be addressing rallies at various places such as Paramakudi, Manamadurai and Madurai. He also met fishermen at Rameshwaram.
