In Bollywood, several celebrities carry such an aura that they are followed religiously by their fans. While it is a way of showing appreciation towards their beloved stars, a wild obsession with celebs can also land fans into problems like fraud. Recently, actor Govinda warned his fans against a scam going on in his name in the city of Lucknow.

Apparently, the posters of a fake event are being circulated on social media in which organisers are promising people to give them a chance to meet Govinda and have dinner with him in Lucknow on 20th of December. Govinda clarified that there is no such event taking place. The actor shared the poster of the fraud event on Instagram and just wrote, "False News!"

Apart from this, Govinda released a song titled 'Tip Tip Pani Barsa' which was penned as well as sung by himself. “I have ensured that I entertain my fans who have showered me with their love and blessings each time", siad the actor while talking about the song.
