Scary and shocking: Leopard pounces on sleeping dog outside house, CCTV footage viral

The CCTV footage of a spine-chilling incident from Gujarat's Amreli has gone viral on social media and netizens are concerned.

The video shows a dog sleeping at the doorstep of a house when a leopard stealthily walks in and attacks the dog. The dog wakes up yelping in fright and manages to free itself, but the leopard pursues the dog and what happens after that remains a mystery. This has left a number of social media users concerned for the dog's safety.

Police officials suspect that the leopard has run back into the wild as it has not yet been found, according to a report.
