Remember Ullam Ketkumae More?

It was a movie directed by cinematographer Jeeva starring Shaam, Laila and Pooja. Unfortunately even after a year the movie is still to grace theatres following financial troubles and bickering between the producer and the director. The producer in fact had alleged that the director Jeeva was one of the reasons for the film lying in the cans.

Now, following a case filed with regard to the release of the movie, Madras High Court has given permission to the producers to invite sealed tenders from interested parties to purchase the film in an outright auction and it is said the minimum bidding amount would be Rs. two crore.

Once a party is awarded the contract, he can not just release the movie in theatres but also can sell the telecast rights too.

Shaam and Laila had pinned lot of hopes on the movie. The movie is about five youths and their lives. The production values are said to be rich and had the film reached the theaters on time, it was tipped to become a winner.

But now one is not so sure.

One really wonders who would take the risk of investing more than Rs. two crore to have the movie released, which has been lying in the cans for a long period.

Surely, the producer's heart will be asking for more.
