Hansal Mehta launched Pratik Gandhi into a nationwide stardom with his phenomenal web show 'Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story'. Now the duo are uniting for a new project. The film is titled 'Ded Bigha Zameen' and it will be bankrolled by Hansal Mehta, Bhushan Kumar and Shaailesh R Singh. The film will be directed by Pulkit who is known for helming 'Bose: Dead or Alive'.

The poster of 'Ded Bigha Zameen' was shared by Hansal Mehta on his instagram. It featured a close shot of Pratik Gandhi's character who seems to be occupied by sine weight in his heart. A suburban town can be seen at the bottom of the image as well. Mehta shared this with the caption, "Some of my favourite people are on a mission! Presenting the first look poster of #DedhBighaZameen. Shoot commences today in Jhansi.??.”

Pratik Gandhi will be seen as a common man who has to fight for what is rightfully his. Gulshan Kumar's Khushali Kumar will be seen as the female lead alongside Pratik.
