Kareena Kapoor Khan, celebrated for her role in the hit mystery thriller "Jaane Jaan," is gearing up to enthrall audiences once more with "The Buckingham Murders." Under the direction of Hansal Mehta, the film premiered at the BFI London Film Festival and received resounding praise. The official poster for the movie has been unveiled, offering a glimpse of Kareena's portrayal of an anguished character, intensifying the anticipation for this upcoming cinematic journey.

Unveiled by Kareena Kapoor Khan on Tuesday, October 17, the first poster for "The Buckingham Murders" showcases the actress in monochrome, depicting her in a state of distress, pulled back by authoritative figures. Directed by Hansal Mehta and produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, under the Balaji Telefilms banner in collaboration with Kareena herself, the poster sets the tone for what appears to be a riveting and intense cinematic experience.

Kareena previously shared images of her character, Jass Bhamra, from the detective thriller "The Buckingham Murders." Expressing her excitement about portraying a detective, she noted, "Jas was a character I have been waiting to play for the last 23 years, being a huge fan of the detective series genre... watching everything from Karamchand to Helen Mirren in Prime Suspect to Hercule Poirot in Agatha Christie to Kate Winslet in Mare of Easttown, I was just dying to be that detective woman."

Reflecting on the film's journey and its premiere at the BFI London Film Festival, Kareena expressed her excitement and nervousness, especially as a first-time producer. She hopes for her character's journey to continue, as the film, featuring Keith Allen, Ash Tandon, Rukku Nahar, and Chris Wilson, is expected to release in 2024.
