Hansika Motwani was last seen on screen in the action thriller 100 directed by Sam Anton and starring Atharvaa in lead role as a police officer who solves a crime. The actress who had been working on her 50th movie Mahaa and has now signed a new movie.

This yet to be titled movie will be directed by Kalyan who had recently delivered Jackpot starring Jyothika and Revathi, and had earlier debuted with the comedy entertainer Gulaebhagavali released last year, also starring Hansika as the female lead.

It has been revealed that this movie will be a horror comedy, and will have Hansika playing a police officer, and will be about how she escapes from the troubles of ghosts. The movie will also star Yogi Babu, Munishkanth, Thangadurai and Motta Rajendran.
