As per the latest buzz in sections of media, Harish Shankar has finally locked a project more than 1.5 years after 'Duvvada Jagannadham' released.

The project is a remake. 'Jigarthanda', a Tamil hit, is the one. Released in 2014, 'Jigarthanda' starred Siddharth in the lead. Sharwanand is likely to step into his shoes in the Telugu version. He will be seen as a filmmaker whose tryst with a gangster results in curious consequences.

Meanwhile, Harish Shankar has refuted the talk that he is finding it hard to find a hero for the remake. "I struggle every day to get the best of me, irrespective of blockbusters and failures. It has never been a struggle because this is what we always wanted to do," he says.
