He has composed many songs and all his creations have been chart busters. Right from ‘Minnale’ to the recently released ‘Ko,’ people who listen to his tunes begin humming them automatically. Such is the magic his tune carries. Now Harris has tried yet another feat. He has penned the lyrics for ‘Engeyum Kadhal’ directed by Prabhu Deva. The composer revealed in a recent interview that he has penned a one and a half minute folk number in the film.

The sound engineer reveals that the writer in him came out accidentally while seeing the clips of ‘Engeyum Kadhal.’ Harris had composed a small bit for a particular scene, but while he saw that portion of the film he felt a song would do more justice to the part rather than just the BGM. Since it was quite late into the night for him to call his lyric writers the composer took things on himself and penned down a few lines.

This particular song will appear in the beginning and at the end of the film. Harris has revealed that he will be singing in one of his albums this year. Harris is working with the tunes for Shankar’s ‘Nanban.’ Six tracks have been composed so far, four of which were composed from London. The composer, who is keen that each tune of his stands unique, has revealed that the ‘All iz well’ slogan from ‘3 Idiots’ will feature in ‘Nanban’ too.

‘Engeyum Kadhal’ sees ‘Jayam’ Ravi and Hansika Motwani in the lead roles and will hit theatres during April.
