Vinoo Anand is the director who came into the limelight with his meticulous direction of the film Oruvan which has Indrajith as a psychopath killer. Even though the film didn't make it to the top of the box office charts, it became noted for its beautiful framing and excellent narratives.

Now in his second film after Oruvan, Vinoo is again repeating Indrajith in the lead. But the surprise casting coup of the film came in the form of Simran, who appears again in  the female lead of the film after keeping away from Tinsel town for a couple of years, following her marriage.

The actress who became impressed with the storyline and her character in the film selected this one as her comeback movie. The film produced in the banner of Tri-Star films by Jolly Joseph follows a storyline by the producer himself.

The movie presents a suspenseful investigative story in the backdrop of a self financing medical college campus. The film, which starts of as a normal campus flick, takes a different root following the suicide attempt by Haritha-a medical student of the campus.

To investigate this case arrives Humayoon Kabeer, a police officer of Tamilnadu cadre.
As the officer pick up the bits and pieces, the two final names that become cornered are that of Binoy John Idikkula- a medical student and his gang and Professor Sabhapathy.

In the course of his investigations, he also follows mysterious lady, Thankom George who is an introvert but posses amazing skills to keep secrets. Then the film captures the officer's attempts to know each of their minds, which leads to bigger relavations.

The film is scripted by Babu Janardhanan after Vasthavam, which won the state award of 2006.

Simran appears as Thankam George, while Indrajith is Binoy John Idikkula. The film also has a younger cast including Anoop Chandran, Manikkuttan, Biju Menon, Govindan Kutty, Arun, Charu Haasan, Jagathy Sreekumar and Cochin Haneefa.

Cinematographed by Jibu Jacob, the film has four songs set to music by George Peter in the lyrics of Gireesh Puthencherry. The film is planned to reach the release centres by this weekend.
