Zaira Wasim of 'Dangal' fame on Sunday shocked everyone by saying that she has decided to quit Bollywood and stop acting altogether. The reason she gave was even more shocking. The 18-year-old girl suggested that acting was coming in her way of practising her faith - Islam.

Following her remarks, many have expressed outrage and disappointment but Akhil Bhartiya Hindu Mahasabha president Swami Chakrapani has welcomed her views. Not only has he endorsed Zaira's decision but also stated that Hindu actresses should take a leaf out of her notebook and quit acting.

"Zaira's decision to withdraw from the film industry is praiseworthy. Hindu actresses should follow suit by taking her as an inspiration," Chakrapani today said.
