Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut's infamous fued seems like a distant memory but the according to recent developments, the actor has been summoned by Crime Intelligence Unit of Mumbai Police’s Crime Branch. The case dates back to 2016 and it started over the alleged exchange of emails between Kangana and Hrithik.

Hrithik claimed that someone impersonated him and sent those mails to Kangana through a fake ID. The case has been transferred from Cyber Cell of Mumbai Police to CIU, who decided to have a face to face talk with the actor.

A tweet by news agency ANI read, "Actor Hrithik Roshan has been summoned to appear before Crime Intelligence Unit of Mumbai Police Crime Branch on February 27 to record his statement in a case lodged against actress Kangana Ranaut involving exchange of emails between the two: Crime Branch."
