As the film industry is on a shutdown due to the spread of Coronavirus, and no shootings are taking place now, the members of FEFSI and daily wage earners working in the film industry are facing difficulties in leading their lives.

Yesterday, actors Sivakumar, Suriya and Karthi together contributed 10 lakhs and Siva Karthikeyan contributed 10 lakhs, and today actor Prakashraj contributed 150 rice bags.

Superstar Rajinikanth has announced a donation of 50 lakhs which is 25% of the amount required for FEFSI employees welfare projected by FEFSI president, director RK Selvamani, and Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi has announced 10 lakhs as his contribution for FEFSI.
