Hulchul is the name of a fictional drink that messes up with the brain of whoever consumes it. The hero (played by Rudhraksh Utkam) starts seeing his dream girl and a range of garden variety characters once he drinks it accidentally. What follows next is a crime drama that involves Rs 100 Cr. The hallucinating male lead's character does remind us of Mahesh Babu's '1: Nenokkadine'.

Starring Dhanya Balakrishna of 'Nenu Sailaja' fame as the heroine, this comedy entertainer has Krishnudu playing the hero's sidekick. Also featuring Madhunandhan, Ravi Prakash, Gemini Suresh and Priti Nigam, the film will hit the screens on January 3.

Directed by Sripathy Karri, 'Hulchul' comes with music by Bharath Madhusuhanan.
