'Hushaaru', which hit the screens last Friday, has reportedly grossed Rs 5 Cr in the Telugu States as of the end of its 5th day at the BO. This is decent, considering that it has no major male lead in its cast. Rahul Ramakrishna, the comedian, is the only much familiar face in the youthful comedy.

The makers have claimed that additional theatres have been added across territories, especially in Nizam, since the first day. Despite not-so-encouraging reviews, the semi-adult comedy has been able to hold its ground. This has become possible because of the failure of 'Bhairava Geetha'.

Although inspired and cliched, the movie is doing well only on the back of some of its comic scenes. Going by the figures, 'Hushaaru' seems to have become a sleeper hit.
