Amala Paul had last starred in the successful Tamil movie 'Ratsasan', the psycho thriller starring Vishnu Vishal. Following the superhit result of the movie, it is being remade in Telugu with Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas and Anupama Parameswaran in lead roles.
Recently, there was a news making rounds in some Telugu media portals, carrying a controversial statement quoted to be said by Amala Paul. The articles quoted Amala Paul as saying that Bellamkonda cannot match the performance of Vishnu Vishal in the original.
However, today, Amala Paul quoted a website that carried the news, and gave a sharp reply to the site, calling the news article as a fake news, and tweeted, This is a classic example of 'I did not say that'. The thin line between bullshit and gossip is invisible to your eyes!.
