It was on July 15, 1999 that Pawan Kalyan's 'Thammudu' hit the screens. Music director Ramana Gogula's sound became a new rage back then among the youngsters.

Getting nostalgic, the musician says, "I cannot believe it's been 19 years since I did the music for Thammudu. I miss the work I did with my brother @PawanKalyan! Thank you all for the amazing support after all these years. God Bless!"

Gogula's 'Travelling Soldier' has been one of the best songs in Power Star's career. Capturing the never-say-die spirit of Pawan's character in the movie, its visuals portrayed the Mega hero's real skills. It inspired many youngsters to come out of their low self-esteem. As many on social media remember the film today, they are calling 'Travelling Soldier' a youth anthem. Fittingly so.
