I take the responsibility for the decisions I make: Nivetha Thomas

Actress Nivetha Thomas is super excited about her upcoming film V. Speaking with Indiaglitz in an exclusive interview, the actress revealed some special things about ‘V’, her career as an actress and a lot more.

We all saw you last in Brochovarevarura and now with V. How excited are you about this thriller flick?

Yeah. In 2019 I did 118 and Brochevarevarura only. Darbar was still a Tamil film. Happy to be like meeting with the Telugu speaking people once again. Well, yes! I am quite excited about V. This is one such film which we all have been in awe of since the beginning. The cast, director, plot and a lot more of things were exciting to me since the beginning. Though we have made it for theatres, the circumstances have been unavoidable and now it is releasing on OTT.

Tell us about your character in this film

So I play Apoorva, a girl who is looking forward to writing her first crime novel and is working on it. She is focused, and different. She is not what you see and has a lot more running behind in her mind. I can’t reveal more though, but can say that it is most interesting character I have played till now and is my favourite already. Even my father asked me a lot about the character and wanted to know about it.

Tell us about working again with Indraganti Mohan Krishna.

If not for Indraganti Sir, I don’t think I would be doing this film. He has written the character of Apoorva is such a beautiful and convincing way that I so wanted to do it. His way of filmmaking is just amazing!

Do you okay the scripts after discussing with someone?

No. Not at all! I take the responsibility for all the decisions I take. I listen to scripts and okay them. But yes, I do share things about it with my parents.
