IT raids at properties of Suresh Babu, Ramanaidu Studios

Producer-distributor D Suresh Babu's properties have come in for Income-Tax sleuths' raids today.  Three properties related to him are currently under the IT radar.  They are Suresh's residence, Suresh Productions' office in Film Nagar, and Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad.  The simultaneous raids have become the big news of the day.

At least half-a-dozen other financing firms related to Tollywood are facing the IT music today in Hyderabad.

After the introduction of GST, several producers across India have come in for scrutiny.  In Telugu, the offices of Mythri Movie Makers, Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations and KL Narayana have been raided in recent past.
