It's not Mahadev. It's Kabali!

Rajinikanth's thriller film Kabali, set to hit the screens on May 1, will be titled as Kabali in Telugu as well. Mahadev, which had been a working title all along, has been dropped.

Directed by debutante Pa.Ranjith, the movie has Rajini playing the role of a suave, urbane-looking gangster.

Santosh Narayanan is scoring the music. Radhika Apte, Kishore, Dinesh and others are playing important roles.

The film was earlier scheduled to hit the screens on April 14, the Tamil New Year Day, but has since been postponed.
