Kamal Haasan moved to tears by Suriya's 'Jai Bhim' and heaps sky high praises

Suriya's new movie 'Jai Bhim', directed by T.G. Gnanavel started streaming from early morninng today (November 2nd) and has garnered unprecedented appreciation from fans and critics alike. The film deals with an advocate's fight against the legal system to free a man belonging to a marginalised tribe accused of a crime he did not commit.

Yesterday the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin after watching 'Jai Bhim' lauded the effort and shared that it reminded him of his own arrest during the emergency period in 1976. He wrote a two-page letter praising the entire team and especially Suriya for producing and acting in the offbeat project.

Today the 'Jai Bhim' team arranged for legendary actor and Makkal Needhi Maiam president Kamal Haasan to watch the film. He has heaped sky high praise on the film giving further boost to the entire cast and crew.

The Ulaganayagan wrote in Tamil "My eyes pooled with tears, director T.G. Gnanavel has expressed with great conviction the strife of the tribal people. I congratulate Suriya and Jyothika for taking the voice of those deprived of speech to the conscience of the mainstream society."

'Jai Bhim' has music by Sean Roldan, cinematography by S.R. Kathir and editing by Philomin Raj. Suriya, Lijomol Jose, Manikandan, Guru Somasundaram, Rajisha Vijayan, Prakash Raj and others costar. The film is streaming on Amazon Prime Video with thunderous response.
