Actor Jai, who had made an on screen appearance last in the action entertainer Jarugandi directed by debutant Pichumani, had recently wrapped shooting for his next, the supernatural thriller movie Neeya 2 directed by Ethan fame Suresh.

Neeya 2 also stars Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Catherine Tresa and Raai Laxmi and the movie is expected to be on the lines of yesteryear Kamal Haasan, Sri Priya starrer Neeya, with a snake woman being the central character around whom the screenplay revolves.

It has now been made official that Neeya 2 will be releasing worldwide on May 10. Produced by Jumbo cinemas A.Sridhar, Neeya 2 has music by Shabir, and is expected to be a violent love story with suspense and thrill factors.
