Jailed gangster goes on hunger strike for a TV

Neeraj Bhawana is a jailed gangster . He was Delhi’s most wanted gangster until 2015 when he was arrested and put in Tihar. Now Neeraj has reportedly gone on a  hunger strike inside the jail, and for what?

Neeraj along with two inmates Pankaj and Tillu have gone on a hunger strike demanding a TV in the jail cell. Yes, you read that right. Even Bhawana’s lawyer had sought the court for a TV as he was in solitary confinement. However, officials of the jail stated that high-risk prisoners such as Chota Rajan are kept in similar cells and they have no television.
