Yesteryear actress Jayanthi was hospitalized on Tuesday night in a Bengaluru hospital after she complained of breathing problems.  In no time, there were rumours that she had passed away.  In fact, she is currently being treated in an ICU.  

Latest reports suggest that the 73-year-old veteran is responding to treatment.  Her family members have requested rumour-mongers to stop the lies about her death.  WhatsApp forwards are found to be the culprit.

She had an illustrious career in the black-and-white era.  The talented and beautiful actress did a number of films in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam and even in Marathi opposite the big stars of the day.
