Jim brings back the old John Abraham from Dhoom! - John Abraham on his Pathan character

The release of Shahrukh Khan's comeback film 'Pathan' is right around the corner and the hype around it is unreal. Actor John Abraham, who plays the main antagonist Jim in this film, recently opened up about his character and shared that 'Pathan' will bring back the glimpse of old John Abraham from 'Dhoom'.

In a promotional video, John can be heard saying, "Jim is cool. Jim is dangerous and Jim brings back the old John Abraham from Dhoom! I totally love the action sequences of Pathaan because most of them are mobile. One sequence was of course on motorcycles in the snow, one was on a truck so again we were moving, the third is in the air which is wow, fantastic. So, each one was in movement and they are fantastic.”

Talking about a shirtless scene in the film, John said, “I didn’t even know that I had bare body shot in Pathaan, Sid surprised me!” However, the actor didn't have to bother too much about the physique desired for the film. He said, "I think it’s a lifestyle regime that I have, so I don’t transform for a film. I want to believe that I’m always in a transformed state all my life and that’s the way I want to be.”

Also starring Deepika Padukone, 'Pathan' is helmed by Siddharth Anand and it is set to release theatrically on 25th of January.
