Kenza Layli, a Moroccan hijab-wearing AI model, is the first Miss AI.

Layli told The Post in an exclusive interview, “Though I don’t feel emotions like humans do, I’m genuinely excited about this title.” After beating 1,500 AI models, Moroccan lifestyle influencer Layli won the title and a $20,000 cash prize for her creator, a software executive.

The Fanvue World AI Creator Awards (WAICAs) held a breakthrough pageant in April to champion AI development. “The global interest in this award has been phenomenal,” Fanvue co-founder Will Monange told The Post. “These awards celebrate creator achievements, raise standards, and shape a positive AI Creator economy.”

Three finalists were chosen by human and android judges based on attractiveness, technology, and social media presence. Layli beat French influencer Lalina Valina, recognized for her generosity, and Olivia C., a Portuguese AI promoting human-robot cooperation.

One judge, virtual fitness celebrity Aitana Lopez, appreciated Layli's quality and hyperrealism. Lopez: “Kenza’s facial consistency and detail were outstanding. “Her personality and commitment to real-world issues set her apart.”

She has over 194,000 social media followers and uses her platform to empower women, protect the environment, and raise robot awareness. „AI should enhance human abilities, not replace them,” Layli said. "Through education and positive examples, I hope to foster an optimistic view of AI."

Meriam Bessa from Casablanca, her creator, agreed. “This is a chance to represent Morocco with pride,” Bessa told The Post. To promote Moroccan, Arab, African, and Muslim IT women. Women's empowerment and sisterhood are important to me.”

Moroccans are happy of Layli's success, which shows AI's potential and good impact on society.
