JioCinema has joined hands with another top streaming service Sun NXT which is owned Sun TV Network and this will give a huge number of Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada movies to Jio. Lot of South Indian films are available for Jio subscribers via JioCinema Android and iOS apps, their TV versions, and JioCinema website.

This deal between JioCinema and Sun NXT will not include Sun Network's TV shows, though Sun network channels are already available on JioTV app. This helps Jio users to access almost all the digital content of Sun without having to pay the annual subscription of Sun NXT which is currently at Rs. 489.

This deal will make JioCinema even more stronger as it already has partnerships with biggies like The Walt Disney Company, Eros Now, ALTBalaji, and Voot.Earlier this year Sun NXT had a partnership with Vodafone Idea which covered more than 50,000 hours of content, including 30 TV channels, 4000 movies, TV shows and more content.
