After an 81-year-old president told reporters ironically that doctors considered him too young, Biden said his annual medical exam was smooth. White House says exam specifics will be released later today. After Biden, 78, became the oldest president in American history after his inauguration, the latest testing is keenly observed.

"They think I look too young," the US President joked at the White House about test drive concerns before a November rematch with 77-year-old Donald Trump.

He spent about two hours and 30 minutes at Walter Reed military medical center outside Washington after a short helicopter flight. Years-long doctor Kevin O'Connor said: "Happy with how everything went." Twenty doctors evaluated him.

Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Biden never had a cognitive test because his doctors didn't think it was relevant. "The president goes through a cognitive test every day," she added of his domestic and foreign administration.

Since a special counsel investigation portrayed Biden as old and inattentive, concerns have grown regarding his age. He was cleared of illegally retaining sensitive data, but the inquiry warned he may project the impression "of someone who means well, but just happens to be an old man with a poor memory."

Republican opponents have launched a black PR campaign to denigrate Biden. However, Biden maintains that his memory is great and reminds everyone that Trump is only four years younger.

Despite a chest malignant skin lesion removal last year, Biden was healthy. Kevin O'Connor, his doctor, described him as a "healthy, vigorous, 80-year-old male."

Trump, like Biden, has health concerns. Trump's doctor wrote last year that he is in "excellent" health, but he did not disclose details.
