After the National Award winning film 'Kutram Kadithal' that released in 2015, its director Bramma is presently shooting for his second film 'Magalir Mattum' which has Jyothika in the lead role. The shooting of the film produced by Suriya under his 2D Entertainments banner has been progressing for the past several months.

Now reliable sources confirm that the shooting of 'Magalir Mattum' has been wrapped up and the team is busy with the post-production work. It is also said that the film will hit the screens in February 2017 and the exact date will be officially announced soon.

'Magalir Mattum' stars Bhanupriya, Saranya, Urvashi, Livingston and Nasser in prominent roles apart from Jo. Ghibran is rendering the music score for this film with Manikandan's cinematography and Prem's Editing.
