Jyothika had a successful 2018, as all her movies had a good run at the box office and she got to do a variety of roles in Bala's Nachiyaar, Maniratnam's Chekka Chivantha Vaanam and Radhamohan's Kaatrin Mozhi. This year too the actress has an impressive line up of films.

The first of the movies planning to release happens to be Ratchasi, directed by debutant Sy. Gauthamraj and produced by Dream Warrior Pictures SR Prabhu. The trailer of the movie which was released along with NGK movie, had met with a good response and now there's an update on the film's release.

As per the latest speculations making rounds, it has been said that Ratchasi is targeting a June 28 release. As of now, June 28 has Yogi Babu starrer Dharmaprabhu and Vemal starrer Kalavani 2 announced for release. It has to be seen if Ratchasi will arrive on the same date, and an official announcement is expected soon.
