Kamal Haasan reveals the celebrity who insisted him to enter politics

Kamal Haasan has revealed in the Vikatan Awards ceremony that it was Ilayaraja who first insisted that he enter politics.  The Isaigniani and the Ulaganayagan had a tete a tete on the stage when the friendly conversation materialised.  Ilayaraja however said that he had asked Kamal long back and only now he has taken the decision to which Kamal joked that for the maestro it is music is easy and comes with the touch of his fingers on the keyboard but he has to ponder a lot before taking decisions.

Kamal on the show got emotional and said that like his own brother Chandrahaasan, Ilayaraja too is a brother to him and with his permission he is embarking on his journey in the service of the people.
