Actor Kamal Haasan who has been often commenting about the public issues and criticising Tamil Nadu's ruling party for corruption has said he has already entered politics and he will start his own party at the right time.

Participating as one of the chief guests in a popular Tamil newspaper's anniversary celebration, on Friday evening Kamal Haasan answered various questions posed by the audience.

When someone asked whether he would take a political plunge Kamal said the question is irrelevant as he has already entered politics in the sense that he has started criticising the politicians. He said if he launches his own political party the funding for that would come from the poor people.

The Ulaganayagan ruled out  rumors doing rounds that he is planning to launch his party on his birthday falling on November 7, 2017. Kamal said he will not select his birthday to launch his party just because it is his birthday. He said he is not in a hurry and he should ensure that he does that (floating his political party) at the right time.

Asked whether he would take his close friend and professional rival Rajinikanth into his party, Kamal said he used to discuss professional matters with Rajinikanth and if needed he will discuss politics also. "Let him come and then we shall talk" Kamal added. This can be interpreted as he is willing to talk and work together with Rajinikanth if the latter takes a political plunge.
