In his latest political tweets, Kamal Haasan has become direct. So direct that he has even taken the names of the two major political parties in Tamil Nadu.

"If one state's CM should resign for a mishap and corruption under his govt, how come no party calls for resignation in TN. Enough crimes (have been) done," he said, suggesting that even the Opposition is not adequately critical of the present government.

"My aim is a better Tamil Nadu. Who dares to strengthen my voice? DMK, AIADMK and (other) parties are (merely) tools to help. If those tools are blunt, find others," he tweeted.

The last line is very significant. He is clearly suggesting that it's time for alternative politics. The question is, will he become that force? Only time holds an answer for this.
