Hollywood star Will Smith made headlines all over the world and shocked everyone present at the 94th Academy Awards after he slapped presenter Chris Rock over a joke. Apparently, comedian Chris Rock made a joke on Will's wife Jada Pinkett Smith which offended Will, who walked over the stage and slapped Chris.

Post this incident, Will has been facing huge backlash for his unprofessional behavior by fans and celebs but there are some people who are supporting him as well. Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut falls into the latter category. She took to her Instagram story and defended Will for standing up for his wife. Kangana also suggested that she would have done the same in Will's place.

She posted a still of the incident and wrote, "If some idiot used my mom or sister’s illness to make bunch of fools laugh I would slap him like @willsmith did...bada** move...hope he comes to my #lockup."

On the work front, Kangana will soon be seen in action flicks like 'Dhaakad' and 'Tejas'.
