Former actress Sharmila Tagore is celebrating her 76th birthday today. On the ocassion, her daughter in-law Kareena Kapoor wished her in a heartwarming way. She shared a black and white close up photo from Sharmila's younger days when she was in her prime with a beautiful caption that read, "To one of the most coolest and strongest women I know... happy birthday my beautiful mother-in-law."

Both of them share an intimate bond, Kareena considers Sharmila an inspiration. This is what she had to say about her mother in law, ""She is a warm lovely lady and a liberal person who has inspired me in every way. She compliments my work and praises me. She thinks I am very sensible and I am happy to call her my mother-in-law."
