"Kartam Bhugtam" : A Must-Watch for Psychological Thriller Enthusiasts

Kartam Bhugtam is an exciting thriller that boasts many enigmas on faith, destiny, and the human psyche. Starring Shreyas Talpade, Vijay Raaz, Madhoo, and Aksha Pardasany, it is a riveting story that will leave one in a world left questioning many things it had always just taken for granted.

The narrative follows Dev Joshi, an NRI who returns to his home town of Bhopal after ten years. One conversation with Anna, a weird astrologer from the vicinity, flips the line between his destiny and illusion—just from here, Dev's life stays on a seesaw.

At the halfway point of the movie, there is a turning point in the narrative that promises a good follow-up, but this gives way to an intricate story of deception and vengeance.

Shreyas Talpade's Dev is a masterstroke, truly real from the inside out, showing his turmoil and vulnerability. Vijay Raaz, in the character of Anna, is literally charming in a way that makes the audience uncomfortable. Madhoo and Aksha Pardasany have done justice to their roles in adding depth to the storyline.

What forms the backbone of Kartam Bhugtam is its screenplay, which beautifully entwines suspense and emotional depth, making it an engaging movie from minute one through to the last. The eerie background score and the evocative visuals just make you delve deeper into its atmospheric quality, thus engulfing you in its enigmatic world.

Soham P. Shah's direction has done justice to the complicated themes of belief and destiny.

He creates an aura of mystery and tension, creating questions and curiosity in the minds of the audience that remain unanswered after the movie has ended. There is a sober treatment in the movie, without unnecessary songs or extravagance.

In this respect, the loud background score could have been avoided, but otherwise, the movie has refrained from excessive theatrics or drama and put forward the message in a clear manner. This is in its power of simplicity, as it simply brings forth the idea that karma will always come back to get you, and no matter how far you run, it will catch up with you.

Kartam Bhugtam, as a whole, is a riveting movie that very easily connects to the audience with a strong message and in no way blurs out of the storyline. It is a must-watch for those who are into psychological thrillers, and you will definitely come out very pleased with the magical performances, storyline, and thought-provoking direction.

Verdict: "Kartam Bhugtam" is a riveting psychological thriller that delves into the complexities of faith, destiny, and human psyche, driven by stellar performances and masterful
