No one will deny that fact that the youth and students of Tamil Nadu are the real heroes of Jallikattu protest and they deserve the primary credit for the Tamil Nadu Government's drastic action to conduct the ancient sport of Tamils immediately.

The entire Kollywood as well as celebrities from other film industries have been extending support to the protest in various forms.

Now a highly talented youngster from Tamil film industry who achieved unanimous acclaim with his debut film recently has come forward with a laudable gesture to support the ongoing protest of youngsters for Jallikattu.

Karthick Naren, the 21 year old director of the latest super hit 'Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru' has announced that the entire money collected by his film in Chennai theatres tomorrow, will be contributed to the "brothers and sisters fighting for Tamil identity."

It is to be noted that 'D16' is the home production venture of Karthick.

The film that released on December 29 is still holding on to many screens across Chennai and tomorrow being a Sunday, we can expected the collection amount which will go for the Jallikattu protesters will be huge.

Hats off Karthick Naren and 'D16' team.
