Dulquer Salmaan's heroine to team up with Mammootty

Karthika Muralidharan, Dulquer Salmaan's heroine in Comrade in America will be playing the female lead in Mammootty's upcoming film Uncle. Directed by debutant Girish Damodar, Uncle is scripted by actor Joy Mathew. The film which will be in the lines of Joy Mathew's directorial venture Shutter reportedly revolves around a 17-year-old girl and her dad's friend, uncle. Reportedly, Karthika will essay the role of the teenager and Mammootty as Uncle. The movie is expected to start rolling soon. 

Karthika is the daughter of popular cinematographer CK Muraleedharan. The actress who is an active theatre artist made her acting debut as Dulquer Salmaan's love interest in Comrade in America (CIA).
