Romantic hero of yesteryear Karthik, who jumped to politics and even went ahead to become the leader of a prominent political party in the State in a short span of time, has now become a political orphan. His rise and fall happened has at a quick pace.

The actor initially tried desperately to forge an alliance with the DMK and things failed to workout in his favor. He then tried hard to convince Chief Minister and AIADMK supremo J Jayalalithaa and strike a deal with them. Unfortunately his attempts failed to yield the desired results.

Now left with no option Karthik has announced that his party would be contesting alone in over 100 seats in Tamilnadu.

Say people in the industry, 'it's not too late even now. The spot left by Karthik in Kollywod is still vacant. It's time that he understands his wrong moves and return to concentrate on his career in filmdom. Certainly he has a bright future here than going unidentified in the fight of bigwigs at the political battle'.

Is Karthik listening?
