Kathakali
"Kathakali is a good entertainer that slowly builds into an action packed thriller," this is our verdict of the Tamil version, which hit the screens on Jan 14. The Telugu version has Vishal's fans awaiting because of the satisfactory performance of his recent films, dubbed into Telugu.
Directed by Pandiraj, Kathakali has Catherine Tresa playing the female lead. Hiphop Tamizha's music and Balaburamaniem's cinematography are said to be among the highlights. Editing is by Pradeep E. Ragav.
An action-thriller, it is co-produced by Vishal.
Action and mystery are interspersed into the narration. Catherine Tresa has earlier done films like Iddarammayilatho, Paisa, Chammak Challo, Errabus, and is now part of Sarainodu.
Madhusudhan Rao, Mime Gopi, Karunas, Lakshmi Ramakrishnan, Sreejith Ravi, and Pawan are among the cast.
