Film celeb and journalist Kathi Mahesh today met with a road accident at the famous Chandrasekharapuram highway in Andhra Pradesh's Nellore district. As per early reports, Mahesh was rushed to the Nellore Medical Hospital after he sustained minor injuries. There are indications that the character artist is responding well to the treatment.

Sakshi, the Telugu-language daily, has reported that his car was mauled in the accident. Ground reports about the accident are yet to be had. 

Known for being a participant of the first season of Bigg Boss Telugu, which was hosted by Jr NTR, Mahesh has since become a controversial YouTube personality. In the past, he has passed remarks against Pawan Kalyan and Jana Sena Party. In his social media posts from time to time, Mahesh tends to attack some industry personalities. 

In 2018, Mahesh was banished from Telangana for six months after making remarks that allegedly offended a community. Earlier this year, he was seen in a cameo in Ravi Teja's 'Krack'.
