In recent days, allegations of rape, sexual assault, and grooming have surfaced against comedian Russell Brand, spanning back to his peak fame. However, newly resurfaced comments and stories suggest that individuals have attempted to expose him for years.

In 2006, Dannii Minogue, pop star Kylie's younger sister, described Brand as "completely crazy and a bit of a vile predator" due to an uncomfortable interaction during her appearance on his MTV show 1 Leicester Square. Brand made inappropriate comments about her appearance and pursued her for her phone number.

Kristen Bell's comments from 2010 about working with Brand in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" also gained attention. She stated that she would physically confront Brand if he attempted anything inappropriate and emphasized that he respected her boundaries.

Old video clips show Brand's outlandish behavior, such as bouncing actress Katherine McPhee on his lap on "The Tonight Show" while making inappropriate remarks.

In a 2013 podcast interview, Brand made offensive jokes about rape and child abuse, which have since been condemned.

Excerpts from a 2014 book by model Jordan Martin, who dated Brand, were republished. She described being sexually assaulted by him and feeling manipulated into participating in uncomfortable encounters.

Comments from Brand's ex-wife, Katy Perry, also resurfaced. She mentioned feeling controlled by him during their marriage and hinted at undisclosed reasons for their breakup.

Multiple women have alleged sexual assault by Brand between 2006 and 2013, leading to investigations and reports to the Metropolitan Police.

Brand denied the allegations in a YouTube video, emphasizing that his past relationships were consensual and questioning ulterior motives behind the accusations.
