As reported earlier, actor Nivin Pauly, who plays the title role in the upcoming Malayalam period film “Kayamkulam Kochunni”, is getting trained in Kalaripayattu, an ancient martial arts form of Kerala, for the film. As the actor is playing a demanding role in the movie, he leaves no stone unturned to get into the skin of the character.

Recently, a few photographs of the actor working out at the gym has surfaced online. We can see a very much trimmed and fit Nivin in the pictures. Earlier, the actor's Kalari practicing photos were also doing the rounds on social media.

Being directed by Rosshan Andrrews, the film is based on Kochunni, the real-life famed highwayman, who was active in central Travancore during the 19th century. Kayamkulam Kochunni robbed from the rich and gave to the poor. Amala Paul plays the leading lady. For nearly a month, the team has been shooting in Mangalore.
