After a wait for so, so long, Prabhas is all set to return to screens with "Salaar: Part 1: Ceasefire," slated for December 22, 2023. The film, which comes from the directorial stable of KGF-fame Prashanth Neel, has made huge headlines in recent times and topped trends.

The movie recently cleared censorship and has a certificate in its arms with a runtime of 2 hours, 55 minutes. The controversy also revolves around another trailer release and some events associated with the film. Notably, this is not the first time Prabhas is part of an A-certified film. His renowned movie "Mirchi," which was released in 2013 along with Anushka Shetty and Richa Gangopadhyay, set a point in his career, and it's one of his best ones till today.

Similarly, "Salaar" too has an A certification, with the runtime coming pretty close to the 3-hour mark. That said, there has also been an action-packed trailer released between the 16th and the 18th of this month in order to spur further anticipation for the Prabhas starrer.

Further, the reports state there might be no pre-release events for the film, which will hurt many Prabhas' fans. At the same time, the producers aim to release the first single from "Salaar" before the release of the movie, but the official date remains awaited.

Starring Prabhas, directed by Prashanth Neel, "Salaar: Part 1: Ceasefire," guest stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, and the brigade. However, "Gadar 2" starlet Simrat Kaur makes a 'special number' appearance.

It is presumed to be the most-awaited first installment of "Salaar" to hit cinemas on December 22, 2023. The film has Ravi Basrur as its music director and Bhuvan Gowda as its cinematographer, while maintaining some of the major production houses for nationwide distribution rights
