Italy taught the world one of the classiest delicacies - pizza, and Karthik Subburaj here in Kollywood came up with his creative thriller endeavour based on the dish and the associated restaurant, which was one of the biggest hits of 2012. The grand success of 'Pizza' paved way for magnificent reception of 'Villa', sequel to the 2012 thriller. Now Kollywood is taking 'Pizza' back to where it belongs - Italy.

It is a proud moment for director Karthik Subburaj, when he announced the happy news that 'Pizza' has been nominated for River to River Florence India Film Festival 2013, Italy. Now the world will get to watch our very own Indian version of new age thriller. 'Pizza' gave Vijay Sethupathi a commercial break and had Ramya Nambeesan playing the heroine.
