Justice served for Shankar, death sentence to Kausalya's father -details here

The news of a 22 year old dalit youth Shankar hacked to death at broad daylight in March 2016 brought shock and disappointment in the state.
Now the Tirupur court has sentenced the girl’s father Chinnasamy with a death penality under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code. In addition to this, the court also slammed him with10 years for criminal conspiracy and another 3 years for other charges as well. A penality of 1 lakh has been imposed on Chinnasamy. The convict will be hanged after serving his term.
Moreover the court has also ordered death penality for accomplices Jegadesan, Manikandan, Selvakumar pertaining to the case. The girl's mother Annalakshmi, Pandi Durai and releative Prasanna were acquitted by the court.
