Reputed actress Krishna Kumari who is well known in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada movie industries passed away this morning in Bengaluru residence. The actress was diagnosed with cancer two years back and was undergoing chemotherapy treatment.

In her illustrious career, Krishna Kumari not only won awards from the National Government and State Government but has also bagged the prestigious Life Time Achievement Award from Birmingham, London. She has also worked with the stalwarts of Tamil cinema such as MGR and Sivaji Ganesan as well. 

It is also worth mentioning here that Krishna KUmari was the younger sister of another popular actress Sowcar Janaki. She was one of the busiest actresses in the 50s, 60s and the 70s having more than 170 films to credit in her massive portfolio. Indiaglitz conveys it condolences and may her soul rest in peace.
