Kadhalukku Maranamillai - Gallery

K T Kunjumon needs no introduction. His ARS production house has come out with successful films like Vasanthakala Paravaigal, Sooriyan, Gentleman, Kadhalan, Kadhal Desam, Ratchagan among others.

The ace producer is an actor now. He has appeared for a song in ‘Kadhalukku Maranamillai’, his next production venture. Kunjumon, who introduced directors Shankar, Pavithran and Praveenkanth, says, “Kadhalukku Maranamillai will be a movie to reckon with in my career”.

Directed by debutant Balaji, the movie features Theja, Meera Nandan, in lead roles. Karunaas, Suhasini, Vaiyapuri and Saranraj are also there. Bharadwaj has scored the music.

Says Kunjumon: “The highlight of the movie is its screenplay, Balaji has come out with a gripping script, which is laced with romance. Romantic movies have always struck a chord with masses. My movie would match the standards set by films like ‘Alaigal Oivadhillai’, ‘Ek Tujhe Ke Liye’ and ‘Bobby’.”

“Suhasini and Karunaas play crucial role in it. Their characters have come out really well,” he adds.

Known for grandeur, the producer had erected a huge set costing over Rs 50 lakh, where a song sequence was shot. Plans are on to release the movie this Deepavali.
