Just a few days after TV and cinema actor Gurumurthy, noted playback singer and music director LN Shastry passing away, here is another highly talented actor in small and big screen Lamboo Nagesh succumbing to multiple ailments at the age of 65 on Saturday at MS Ramaich Hospital.

One of the very few talented actors today in the supporting roles is Lamboo Nagesh. 6 feet 3 inches in height possessed fantastic voice besides an impressive physique. An agile actor was Bharatanatyam dancer too. He was running a school with his wife and daughter.

20 years of service in cinema in films like Anjadha Gandu, Wanted, Nayak and Ugranarasimha out of his 45 films he was depressed with Kannada cinema industry roping in artists from adjacent states for character roles. The amount spent on coming and going plus care taking of non Kannada actors is the remuneration of actors like me in Kannada he said once.

That is the reason why he switched to television serials. Once he was in six mega television serials that were coming in small screen from morning till night. Radha` in ETV at 2.30 pm he was in Rangoli and Kalyana Rekhe in Udaya and Zee Kannada at 4.30 pm he was in Mungarina Kathe. At 7 pm in ETV he was in Maneyondhu Mooru Baagilu`. At 7.30 pm in Kasthuri Mumbelagu` same time in ETV Lamboo Nagesh was in Agni Sheke` in ETV. At 8.30 pm in Udaya he was in Rangoli` and at 9.30 pm he was Mangalya in Udaya TV. He was in Ella Marethiruvaga` for ETV that was on air at 6 pm.

His role of Chabria in Muktha` had given good satisfaction for him. He worked 26 days in a month for small screen assignments.
