The shooting of Varun Tej's forthcoming film 'Kanche' is progressing briskly and the latest buzz is about Varun`s look in the film. Clad in Khakis and holding a pistol, Varun was apparently seen in role of a army personnel giving impetus to the buzz that the film would bet set in pre-Independence era.

Directed by Krish, the film features former Miss India contestant Pragna Jaiswal as Varun's love interest. Pragya made her Bollywood debut in Amit Vats' Tittoo MBA and later entered Kollywood with the film Virattu.
